From 1987 to 1994, I reviewed the entire library at the Texas Historical Commission (THC) and completed specially prepared forms that were later published in the THC series entitled Abstracts in Texas Contract Archeology. During this time, I was assisted by William A. Martin and Stephanie Stoermer Strickland. The abstracts are composed of four parts. They are Abstracts and Information; County Index; Historic Period Index; and Site Trinomial Index.
