Although I had recorded sites on my personal time and had conducted an extensive “windshield survey” of Walker County and authored a report on the subject, my first experience with writing a formal contract came when I was a graduate student at Texas A&M University. CLell L. Bond hired me to co-author a report on investigations in the Davy Crockett National Forest. I did not participate in the survey but compiled much of the report. During my tenure at Fort Hood, I wrote several reports while employed by Texas A&M University. These reports are listed under “Reports for Other Firms.” I also authored a technical report and several letter reports.
