Heartfield, Price & Greene

Heartfield, Price & Greene, Inc. (HPG) in Monroe, Louisiana was my first full-time employer.  The Principals consisted of Lorraine Heartfield (President), G. R. Dennis Price, and Glenn Greene. I was hired me to compile a report that documented as much of the history and archaeology relating to the Pearl River as possible from Jackson, Mississippi to its mouth.  After completion of that project, I remained on staff.  Although my primary duties were archival research and report writing, I participated in a few surveys.  The reports listed below were written during my tenure at HPG.

1982

A Cultural Resources Inventory of the Pearl River Basin, Louisiana and Mississippi.

A Cultural Resources Inventory of the Proposed Dry Impoundment Area North of Ross Barnett Reservoir and Field Reconnaissance of the Pearl River in the Vicinity of Jackson, Mississippi.

1981

A Preliminary Cultural Resources Overview of the Yantis Project, Northern Texas.

Archaeological Survey of a Well Pad in the Klondike Prospect, Delta County, Texas.

1989

Archaeological survey of a proposed Enron 30″ pipeline (40 miles) in Texas and Oklahoma. I served as Co‑Principal Investigator with G. R. Dennis Price of HPG and co‑authored the report.  At the time, I was no longer employed by that firm.
