Environmental Reports

Virtually all environmental assessments conducted by BVRA are part of the total project that includes archaeological survey.  In some cases, BVRA was involved in environmental studies that evaluated the potential impact to threatened and endangered species.  Those that I participated in are listed below. This is not a complete list.

James E. Warren conducted a wetlands investigation of a proposed prison lift station project in Newton County. No wetlands were found that would be endangered by the proposed project. BVRA published the results in Environmental Report 5.

James E. Warren conducted a wetlands survey for a proposed wastewater improvement project in Wood County, Texas for the Fouke WSC in Mineola, Texas. Forty-one areas were found that could be considered wetlands by the United States Army Corps of Engneers. BVRA published the results in Environmental Report 6.

Streiner C. Kierce conducted a biological and botanical survey for the Proposed Wastewater Improvement Project in Wood County, Texas for the Fouke WSC in Mineola, Texas. No rare, threatened, or endangered species were observed within the waterline right-of-way. BVRA published the results in Environmental Report 7.

Steiner C. Kierce conducted a “Threatened and Endangered Species Study” for the Ed Kharbat Drive Extension, Phase II Project for the City of Conroe in Montgomery County, Texas. BVRA published the results in Environmental Report Number 9.
