Owner and Sole Proprietor of Brazos Valley Research Associates (BVRA).  A list of BVRA reports entitled “Contract Reports” can be found under the tab “Reports.”  Other BVRA reports are listed there as well.  These include archaeological assessments, avoidance pans, contract reports, contributions in archaeology, environmental reports, management summaries, seismic surveys, and sub-consultant reports.

1983 to 1986

Staff member for the Archeological Research Laboratory, Texas A&M University. Duties included archival research, report preparation, editing, archaeological survey, and site monitoring. A list of BVRA reports written while employed at the research laboratory can be found under the tab “Reports for Other Firms.” I was Dr. Shafer’s Graduate Teaching Assistant in 1978 and 1979.  My duties included attending his classes when possible, teaching his classes in his absence, helping to repare and grade tests.
