Midland

The Sanborn maps dated 1905 (Sheet 2) and 1909 (Sheet 3) depict a one-story brick jail in Midland, Texas. It was located on the courthouse square (block 54).  In 1914 (Sheet 3) the one-story jail was enlarged to become a two-story brick jail.  No jail was seen on the 1900 Sanborn map.
