On the Sanborn Fire insurance map dated 1915 (Sheet 2), there is a one-story wooden calaboose at 747 Buck Street in City Block 52 southeast of the courthouse between Main and Shaw streets.
Somerville
Somerville 1925
The Sanborn map dated May 1925 (Sheet 10) depicts a small wooden calaboose at 919 6th Street (formerly 7th Street). It was in the extreme northwest corner of the block at Avenue A and 6th. This map is on file at the Somerville County Museum in the town of Somerville.
There is a calaboose in Caldwell off of Buck Street next to the old Fire Department. Not sure if this is the one you are referencing in the article. The one that is still standing is on South Hill street between Buck and Mustang.

Thanks for the comment. The one you refer to is the same one I was discussing in the article. I hope the City will protect it and make it a place that can be visited as a reminder of what some jails were like in those days.
