This suspicious structure can be found in a city park in Bogata, Texas.  According to City officials, it was built to be used as part of the water treatment plant system.   There are massive metal bars in one of the windows and the spokesperson for the city could not explain why they were there.  This building is used annually as an example of a jail for school children to examine.  One local informant told me that it never was a calaboose but there was a wooden calaboose at one time.  This building will remain on this page until further notice.
