Lisa Mahier of Gail, Texas sent me a newspaper article written in 1967 about their jail.  The rest of the article will be posted with the pictures of the jail under Calabooses in Borden County.

Collaborator Darryl Pearson was in Teague, Texas (Freestone County) today and he sent me pictures of a very nice metal cage with two cells. He said it used to be inside the original City Hall  but now it is behind the Railroad Museum.  I greatly appreciate his continuing support.

On my trip to Zapata with Rhonda Holley we located two very interesting buildings.  One is a calaboose in Nixon (Gonzales County) and the other is a suspicious structure in Jordanian (Atascosa County).  Pictures have been posted and I hope to get more information soon.
